Corporation was
recognized by Florida Governor Rick Scott during the Governor’s State of the
State address today.
Outlining his
priorities for the coming session, Governor Scott noted “We have to ask
ourselves who has the next big dream for Florida? Who are the inventors? Who
are the builders? Who are the trailblazers?”
Among other Florida
business pioneers, Governor Scott recognized ITEC President and CEO, Bill Coan,
as an example of “Florida Exceptionalism.”
“Some of the people
whose dreams are changing the world are here today,” said Governor Scott during
his address to both chambers of the Legislature today. Governor Scott lauded
those individuals for having dreamed big and for helping to make the state
great. Bill Coan was recognized for ITEC’s work designing theme parks and
attractions all around the world.
“All of us at ITEC are
extremely grateful and honored to receive this recognition by Governor Scott,”
said Bill Coan. “Our plan is to continue to push the frontiers of entertainment
and attraction design and production to new heights and to make ongoing
contributions to the industry and economy.”
